Days at our Kindy
We are licensed for a maximum of 30 tamariki (aged 2 - 5 years old) per day, Monday to Friday. Our hours are from 8.45am to 2.45pm. We are closed during school holidays.
In our nurturing and supportive environment, we empower tamariki to learn and grow. We believe in open communication between our kaiako and parents, recognising the vital role of active parent and whānau involvement in ensuring holistic development for tamariki. By maintaining transparent communication, we can address tamariki strengths, needs, and interests, thereby enhancing their sense of mana, self-worth and dignity.
How we Work
Our kindergarten is a registered charity community group. We are run by a Management Board of parents elected annually. We are licensed to operate by the Ministry of Education with a full day license.
We offer 20 hours ECE for each eligible tamaiti. If you wish to take up 20 Hours ECE at our kindergarten, there is an optional charge of $7.15 per day ($1.19 per hour).
If your tamaiti is not eligible for 20 hours ECE or you opt not to use 20 Hours ECE at our kindergarten, our fees are $44.61 per day ($7.44 per hour). WINZ Subsidies are available to whānau who qualify through Work & Income NZ.
We offer a 10% discount for siblings enrolled at Woodlands Park Kindergarten at the same time.
